A calculator for the length, duration and average speed of the covered and remaining distance. Enter a total distance, the distance covered so far and the time you needed. Your speed, remaining distance and remaining time will be calculated. The remaining time is the time for the remaining distance if you keep your speed. The same is for the total time. If you enter a desired time (which has to be longer than the time already passed), then the speed for the remaining distance will be calculated. The units can be chosen at will.
Example: at a total distance of 10 miles, you have already covered 4 miles in one hour. So the speed is 4 mph, the remaining time would be 1 1/2 hours at the same speed, the total time is 2 1/2 hours. If you want to make the total distance in two hours, the remaining distance must be made with a speed of 6 mph.
It probably happens quite often that you start off too slowly or too quickly and then have to hurry up after a certain part of the route or take your time. However, it is often not possible to estimate exactly in advance how long you will really need. This applies to the entire route as well as to the remaining part of the route. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time, then it is definitely advisable to have a time buffer.
