Calculator for potential energy, the energy that mass has at a height. This energy is released when the mass loses height, e.g. when a corresponding body falls down. In order to gain altitude, this energy must be expended. The formula for the calculation is E_p=m*g*h
Please enter three values to calculate the fourth. The g-acceleration is preset with the standard value. One joule (J) is equal to one newton meter (Nm) or one watt second (Ws).
