Calculate Wrapping Paper Size

Here you can calculate how big the wrapping paper needs to be to wrap a rectangular gift. The overlap describes how far the paper overlays, a few centimeters are advisable here, also because you will not be able to get the paper lying completely on the gift without a gap. 5 centimeters are preset.
Instead of centimeters, inches or any other length unit can be used.

Dimension of the paper:

The length of the wrapping paper is 2 times the length of the gift + 2 * the height of the gift + overlap.
The width of the wrapping paper is 2 times the width of the gift + 2 * the height of the gift + overlap.
